    I just couldn't understand why BVC management changed booking policies or procedures that really make it difficult for BVC members to book. Online booking now allows booking periods of 3 months instead of previously one can book 6 months in advance....and its getting even harder to get rooms now!

    Let's have more feedback from members regarding this issue.

    100% agree with you. i've been joining this club since 2006, the reason why is bcoz i used to enjoy the facilities with my father (been member since 2000). during that time, booking is so easy & they managed to fullfill our request. however, with the implementation of this booking system with so many conditions (i.e within 2 mths, max 2 rooms per booking etc) i always have to "berperang" with the Customer Service due to delay of response & hard to get thru the phone line etc. really makes me headache & high blood la Sad. I think BVC has a lot of improvement to look into: Customer service, booking system, affilated charges, more hotels maybe etc. I'm not as happy as I was before with BVC. In fact, there're friends asking me & even interested in joining BVC...& my advice to them, try to look into other timeshares.

    sorry for off topic, mam7278, if you friend still interesting to join BVC, please PM me, i want to sell mine. My BVC can have refund after 38yrs, please take note, if you join nowday, you wouldn't get refund.

    sorry i am just joking, i wont be selling mine membership, i cant pass unto others what is shit to me !! i have high blood pressure everytime i call BVC and if i were to sell it , i would be causing high BP to the other guy ! we all condemn scams and crooks but if we are cheated, say into buying a stone for a diamond, please dont try to resell the stone to save overselves ! BVC is still selling its membership, i heard people condemning chinese girls making calls about winning lucky prices, or cepat kaya schemes, which are all scams , tell them to sell timeshares memberships, nobody would call them scams, they wont fo to hell after they die !

    我从2001年开始参加BVC,开始的时候,我觉得BVC是全马最好的旅游卡,还介绍朋友买了几张(我的台湾朋友买了三张,现在失望到顶透),但到最近这几年,房间就开始越来越难预定,可能是会员太多,而且办公人员不足的缘故,那也就罢了,去年开始,好些酒店也突然变成了附属酒店,就是要付附加费才能入住的那种,那也就罢了,今年开始,无理的预定条件一出,我就无法忍受了,简直就是要会员没能使用而注销过期房间,这是什么道理?难道BVC只给退休年龄人使用的吗?倘若限制周末和假期只能用一次,那么差不多就是等于整年只能使用一次的条例了,因为等预定的假期回来,大概就已经订不到下一个假期了,这样不是说会员要浪费掉过期房间吗?除非孩子旷课或公司请假才能使用其余的房间,说得过来吗?请BVC多顾虑会员的待遇好吗?不要只是为了公司的好处而被几十千会员臭骂,既然你们的公司可以承载几十千会员,就请拿出可以让几十千会员受惠的本事,没那么大的头,就请不要戴那么大的帽子,而让会员受苦。希望你们可以改善预定房间条例,否则,请付费回购失望会员的会员籍,我想,一定会是一窝蜂的人踊着把他们的卡卖回给你们,不信就试试看。另外,建议Berjaya Langkawi的单位增多几十间,你们才给十间,相比几十千会员,未免太少了吧!

    I think it is ridiculous for BVC to classified all weak ends and school holidays as peak season and hence, imposing the limits. As corrctly pointed out, not all members are pensioner and able to go for hoidays during non-peak season, and the limits imposed will definitely result in the forfeiture of their entitlements due to non-utilisation. I would like to suggest that BVC reviews its booking guidelines by allowing members to book rooms online on a first-come-first-serve bais as long as they are entitled for it. To overcome the problems of members blocking rooms and cancel it last minute due to whatever reasons, I suggest that a reasonable surcharge be imposed in lieu of forfeiture of entitlement, for any cancellation made within 14 days from the date of confirmed booking as I believe, any reasonble member would not like to make fun of any planned holidays with their loved ones pending circumstances beyond their controls.

    Its really a pleasure to join this forum, thoughts its more out of disappointed and frustration with BVC - absolutely the same woes as all of you. We really really feel cheated. When they sold us the membership in jan 2005, we were made to feel so princely, blessed & privileged. Since then, over these years, gradually we are made to feel like the underprivileged, desperately trying to get a slot in one of the now-meagre list of resorts and feel so lucky we somehow managed to sacrifice our potential working days as holidays.....we invested RM 19K and now feel so cheated. Its a major con job. I did have respect for Mr. Vincent Tan as a corporate business man earlier to this, but now feel that he is just a cheap, fly by night conman for having cheated so many simple, sincere individuals out of their hard earned money...most importantly cheated us out of our pleasure for having a chosen a long term holiday plan believing and trusting in a reputed business group. I feel there is no point in expressing over a forum. WE ALL MUST GANG UP AND TAKE UP THIS ISSUE TO THE CONSUMER FORUM AND TO THE PRESS - MAKE A BIG ISSUE OF THIS WHOLE CON-JOB.     Is it true that if you have successfully booked a weekend period at any resort, you cannot make another booking until you have utilised your booking, even if the next booking is not during a weekend or peak period?
    The policies are not clearly stated on the online booking website. I hope such policies can be clearly stated on the website.
