question about new peak time booking policy Empty question about new peak time booking policy

    Post  newbie8 Mon May 31, 2010 2:49 am

Sorry I am confused about the new "1 booking only" peak time booking policy.

I read from another post that you can only make 1 booking during peak season.(peak season include all weekends) Does this mean that whenever you have booked a weekend stay you cannot book another weekend stay anymore during that year ?
Also, if I have 14 days entitlement, under this new policy I can never split my 14days to stay at 2 different places. Is this right ?
If I want to use all my 14 days entitlement, I have to make 1 booking for 14 days at the same resort ? But I thought you can only make a booking for a max of 7 days.

So in essence.... you are only allowed to stay a max. of 1 week consecutively..... after that .... I can only make booking for SUN-THU for my remaining days during that year... right ??

It doesn't make sense to me... hope I understand this wrong.

if u already booked weekend or any holiday, the rule is, u only allow book weekend again when u back from the date, means if u book the date is 31 Aug, u can't make any peak season booking from now till 31 Aug, even your travel date is after 31 Aug, must wait after 31 Aug then u can book another weekend again. you can have many weekend booking in one year, if there are still available. another thing is, booking peak season only allow max 3 nights per booking.

    Thanks for the info....
If peak bookings only for 3 nights max.... does this mean that I can not make a booking for a whole week (7 days consecutive) ?
    1) For example..... I want to stay for 1 week in a week in July (this is not a peak month except weekends defined as peak) Can I make a booking for this or am I only allowed to make a booking for 3 days since it involves the weekend days ?

    Thanks !

Seems this forum is not very active... does anyone know any other place to find more info on this membership ?

As I understand it, Members can book more than 3 maximum nights on top of the weekend provided the weekdays do not fall under peak period.

If you have any problem doing it, let us know- Liaison committee will take it up.
