Tioman Trip

Hi Guys,

I'm new here, and I being BVC member since 2000. Recently I went to Pulau Tioman with my family and we stayed at the Berjaya Tioman Suites. That was my first time staying at that place. I came to Tioman almost every year and we usually stayed at the chalet in Berjaya Beach. When BVC puts us at Berjaya Tioman Suites for the first time, I guessed why don't I gave a try.

But the experience was not like we expected, the Suites was far away from Berjaya Beach resort, there were no room services and any restaurant nearby. We have to go all the way to Beach resort which was one km away for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Suite's pool also quite dirty and most of the time there was nobody at the lobby. The pick-up shuttle which was supposed to commute evey half an hour was not on time.

The other guests was also BVC members. I dont know why they treated BVC members as 2nd class guest, put far away from others and hope we survive on our own. It seems to me the standard of service in Berjaya resort is deteriorating every years especially for BVC member. Or maybe they didn't make enough money from us..

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. How about Berjaya Redang Spa Resort? I was thinking give it a try but just afraid end up disappointed. Have you ever checked in to Berjaya Redang Spa Resort. Look forward your reply. Thanks.

Hi, family and I had the experience in Redang Spa Resort last year. The condition is about the same as Tioman.. No beach, no proper facilities, need shuttle bus to Redang Beach..basically they only provide us a room to stay..we BVC member are 2nd class guest la. Trapped , No way out!
